Congratulations on Your Grant!
Congratulations on receiving a grant from Madison Community Foundation. We are here to support you as you move forward with your project, and would love to celebrate the work you’re doing and your success through social media and other communication channels. Please keep us apprised of your progress and any updates or changes to your plan. Here are some resources to support you as you implement your grant.
Requesting Grant Funds
After you have signed and returned your grant agreement, your grant payments will be sent out. For agreements received by the 15th of the month, grant checks will be mailed on the last day of the month. Contact our grantmaking team with any questions you may have.
Communicating Your Grant
Sharing the news about your grant lets you show your supporters and the community more about the work your organization is doing. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to raise awareness about your grant, your programs and your organization in your newsletters, on social media and through a press release, as appropriate. Grant Evaluation Report
The grant evaluation is based on the measurable outcomes and budget you included in your original proposal. We are interested in learning about your process, your successes and your challenges. A good report is candid, provides lessons learned for both your organization and MCF, and helps guide and improve the work we do with future applicants.
If your project lends itself to photography, we would love to get images of the project and participants (where appropriate) from you to use in our publications, on our website or in promotional materials.
Grantees are required to submit an evaluation report at the end of the grant cycle. Multi-year grant recipients are required to submit an interim and final evaluation report. Evaluation Reports are a requirement of a grant. If the grantee does not submit an interim (for multi-year grants) or final report, they will not receive the next payment or be eligible to apply.
For Community Impact Grantees
As we transition to the online grant portal, grantees that submitted their applications through GoApply will now submit their evaluation via AkoyaGo. Please find the evaluation report in your organization’s GoApply account under the ‘Opportunities’ tab labeled 2025 Community Impact Grant Evaluation.
If your grant was awarded prior to 2025, please email your grant evaluation report to grants@madisongives.org
