Altrusa International Grantmaking Process
The Altrusa Fund considers grant requests from $1,000 to $5,000. The average grant is $1,200.

Altrusa is interested in projects that will:
- Help children and youth meet their full educational potential.
- Expand opportunities for people returning to school or the workforce or for retraining.
- Assist people in succeeding in school so that they are able to be self-supporting.
- Foster parental involvement with their children’s schooling.
- Focus on lifelong learning.
Submit Grant Application
To apply, submit two copies of the application on or before the February 1 application deadline, one submitted via the GoApply portal*, and one signed hard copy (postmarked by February 1), mailed to:

Deadline for applications through the GoApply portal is February 1
Grants will be announced in writing by March 31. Grant recipients may be asked to make a brief presentation about the project to Altrusa International of Madison.
