Apply for a Rio Community Foundation Grant

The Rio Community Foundation (RCF) Committee awards grants from the following funds:

  • General Education Fund – to support general educational needs in the Rio School District
  • Agriculture Fund – to support agricultural related educational needs in the Rio School District
  • Athletic Fund – to support Rio School District athletics
  • Strmiska Fund – to support general community needs within Rio

Grant applications are due by September 30.

RCF Grant Guidelines

  • Eligible applicants must be public charities exempt from federal income taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or governmental bodies, including schools and municipalities
  • Eligible applicants must serve the Rio community
  • Grant recipients are limited to one grant per 12-month grant cycle, as set by dates of award letters
  • Grant recipients must submit a final report within 12 months
