Why We Work With Madison Community Foundation
- The Monona Fund partners with MCF to take advantage of MCF’s fund management expertise and oversight, and to make our grantmaking more efficient. Working with MCF also helps minimize administrative costs, allowing us to maximize the amount of money we have available for making grants.
- Through our partnership with MCF, we can accept gifts of cash, securities, real estate, life insurance and retirement funds. Your contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
- MCF invests the funds for long-term growth, preserving the principal while making a percentage of the endowment’s value available annually for Monona area nonprofit projects and programs.
