Middleton Endowment Grants

2009-2015

 

Fall 2015:

  • Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District received $1,000 for Science Kits for Environmental Study
  • REACH-A-Child received a $950 grant to purchase a computer for an intern. Their mission is to collect and provide books and drawstring backpacks to help first responders comfort children in times of crisis. The Education Foundation received a $1,000 grant to purchase kits and equipment for the new Environmental Education Center located at Kromrey Middle School. The Foundation has raised more than $13,000 for the Center over the past few months.
  • The Friends of the PAC received a $650 grant to cover the costs associated with a musical production of “Rumpelstiltskin” in January 2016 by the Missoula Children’s Theater. The residency week includes 15-20 school workshops and two performances. The Dean Foundation received a $500 grant for its Benevolent Specialists Project Free Clinic, the only one in the area dedicated to providing quality health scare by volunteer professionals to those without insurance or underinsured. 
  • Dean Foundation received $500 for the BSP Free Clinic

Spring 2015:

  • Friends of Pheasant Branch Conservancy, Inc. - $975 to support the Video Project
  • Gio's Garden - $1,000 for the Art Project
  • Middlecon Community Orchestra Inc. - $600 to support the Holiday Concert
  • Middleton Outreach Ministry - $600 to support the software purchase
  • First Lutheran Church - $600 to support the Historic Project
  • Madison Drum & Bugle Corps Association - $600 to support Madison Scouts


Fall 2014:

  • Alzheimer and Dementia Alliance of Wisconsin - $750 for a dementia-friendly community pilot program
  • Clark Street Community School - $933 for t a range and refrigerator for its Heat It Up, Cool It Down program
  • Middleton High School - $600 for an art-science project
  • Middleton United Soccer Club - $325 for new soccer goals
  • Middleton Youth Center - $675 for an outdoor adventures program for 5-8 grade youth


Spring 2014:

  • Gilda’s Club - $750 in support of Family Night
  • Middleton Outreach Ministry  - $1000 to help fund the purchase of the desired computer equipment
  • Middleton Players Theatre - $875 to help purchase a 20-by-50 foot theater curtain drop
  • Friends of Pheasant Branch Conservancy  - $675 to  help fund area school field trips to the conservancy

2013:

  • Reach a Child - $475 to fund BACK backpack program expansion into Middleton
  • Madison Drum & Bugle Corps - $1,000 to support  performance and family activities in Middleton in 2013
  • Middleton Outreach Ministry - $1,000 to purchase food through Second Harvest to meet growing demand
  • Middleton Historical Society - $500 supplies to properly store and house a unique textile collection
  • Dean Foundation - $1,000 to support the free clinic and health care service for Middleton residents
  • Growing Food & Sustainability - $1,000 to build an outdoor kitchen and project area for growing programs with students
  • Kromery Middle School - $1,000 to fund the “Where Everyone Belongs” program for selected 8th graders
  • Friends of the Performing Arts - $500 to support a residency week with Missoula Children’s Theatre group
  • Journey Mental Health - $200 to introduce the Youth Mental Health First Aid course to Clark Community School
